How the structure of GDP by economic sector has changed
For the first time in the years of industrialization (2010-2020), the gross value added of the manufacturing industry exceeded the mining industry in the structure of the gross domestic product of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2020.
Thus, the share of GVA of industrial sectors in the country's GDP in 2020 was: mining - 12.4%, manufacturing - 13.0%, electricity-1.6%, water supply-0.3%.
