Special economic and industrial zones

Kazakhstan Industry and Export Center «QazIndustry» JSC is the coordinator of special economic and industrial zones in Kazakhstan. The main tasks of QazIndustry, acting as the Unified Coordination Center, are the development, promotion, and enhancement of the investment attractiveness of special economic and industrial zones.

The Unified Coordination Center is continuously engaged in improving the operational system and business processes of SEZs/IZs, protecting the interests of management companies and residents, increasing the efficiency of legal regulation, eliminating formal barriers, and creating incentives for investing in Kazakhstan's SEZs/IZs. Today, 17 SEZs and 67 IZs operate within the territory of Kazakhstan.
