In the period January-April 2021, the pharmaceutical industry of the Karaganda region became the leader among the regions for the first time, reaching the level of 21 billion tenge (the share of 33.9% in the regional context) due to the launch of new production facilities, such as the coronavirus vaccine (Sputnik V), drugs for the treatment of diabetes, drugs for the treatment of heart attacks and strokes, drugs for the treatment of rare diseases.
