Within the framework of the Industrialization Map and Business Support Maps of the regions, 201 projects worth 916.8 billion tenge were implemented in Kazakhstan in 2020, 18.6 thousand new jobs were created.

In 2020, in Temirtau, Karaganda region, Linde Gas LLP launched the production of industrial gases – oxygen and nitrogen – for the steel production of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC. The new plant produces 24,500 Nm3 / h of oxygen gas, as well as 28,000 Nm3/h of nitrogen gas, which is necessary for the production of cast iron, steel and rolled metal. It is worth noting that the range of applications of industrial gases is quite wide-from medicine to the production of electronics, where high-purity gases and special gases are used.

A new plant for the production of passenger buses, quarry and road construction equipment Yutong "QazTehna"LLP has opened in Saran, Karaganda region. The plant plans to produce about 1200 units of buses and 500 special equipment per year. This will make it possible to significantly influence the situation with the worn-out public transport fleet of Kazakhstan at the first stage.

Another project in the Karaganda region was implemented within the framework of the Business Support Map of the region, the foundry - the ferroalloy plant of "Qaz Carbon" LLP. The company produces cast-iron grinding balls for processing plants, cast-iron tsilpebs for construction industry enterprises, brake pads for railway transport, as well as shaped casting.

In Almaty, Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan launched the production of Hyundai passenger cars of the Accent, Elantra, Sonata, Creta, Tucson, Santa Fe models. The plant was built taking into account modern technologies of the world automotive industry and the requirements of environmental standards. During the months of 2021, the company produced more than 7 thousand units of passenger cars, increasing the volume by 18 times. By the end of 2021, the company plans to increase the production of 30 thousand cars, of which more than 6 thousand units will be exported.

In July 2020, an automated conveyor line of the ModeX house-building plant with a capacity of 135 thousand square meters of housing per year was opened in Nur-Sultan. The company has implemented innovative technologies of large-block housing construction used in the USA, Singapore and Germany, which will reduce the construction time, improve its quality and reduce the cost of housing. Modular blocks can be used in the construction of residential complexes, cottages, social infrastructure facilities, including educational institutions, shopping pavilions, office premises and others.
Already the products of the ModeX house-building plant are used in the construction of the residential complex " 7YA " and "Sezim Qala 9"in Nur-Sultan.

Ulba-TVS LLP has launched a project for the production of fuel assemblies for nuclear power plants as nuclear fuel in the East Kazakhstan region.
These are the main projects that were implemented in 2020.

676 permanent jobs were created in single-industry towns and 6.5 thousand in rural areas.
In general, according to the results of 2020, the projects of the Industrialization Map and the Business Support Maps of the regions, introduced in 2010-2020, produced products in the manufacturing industry in the amount of about 4.8 trillion tenge, or 37%, including in the sectoral context:
* metallurgy – 2.4 trillion tenge or 43%;
* mechanical engineering – 758.3 billion tenge or 42%;
* construction industry – 159 billion tenge or 24%;
* chemistry – 281.8 billion tenge or 60%;
* pharmaceuticals – 101.9 billion tenge or 74%;
* light industry – 46.6 billion tenge or 36%.
