The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with JSC "Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export "QazIndustry" participates in the formation of the Eurasian Register of Industrial Goods of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Recall that within the framework of the EAEU, the decision of the Council of the Commission on November 23, 2020 approved the Rules for determining the country of origin of certain goods for public procurement purposes.
The rules will provide access to public procurement to suppliers from all countries in the EAEU, will increase the level of localization of production, will help form incentives for industrial cooperation within the Union.
The requirements already apply to about 300 types of goods of energy, special, agricultural machinery, automotive, machine tool industries, electrical and cable industries, compressor and refrigeration equipment, light, furniture, woodworking, chemical, petrochemical industries.
The Rules take into account the production and technological capabilities of domestic manufacturers, as well as plans and prospects for the production of industry in Kazakhstan.
In Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan will send applications to the EEC for the inclusion of goods in the Eurasian register on the basis of examination certificates issued by expert organizations. The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been designated as the authorized organization of the Republic of Kazakhstan to interact with the Eurasian Economic Commission on the formation and maintenance of the Register.
To date, 48 products of the Kazakh manufacturer of batteries have already been included in the Eurasian register.
