Sigma Solutions company, founded in 2011, is engaged in the supply of electrical products and explosion-proof equipment for the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.         

Taking into account the readiness of the market to provide Kazakh products, as well as in order to develop local content, in 2019 the company started launching an assembly shop of explosion-proof electrical equipment.   

The project of localization of explosion-proof electrical equipment was implemented in 2020, in cooperation with the OEM brand, which will provide the market with high-quality products that meet the requirements of international standards ATEX and IECEx. The share of local content in the manufactured products ranges from 46% to 64%.

It is important to note that the production of explosion-proof shield and distribution equipment is difficult to implement and is in great demand for integrated solutions in the oil and gas, petrochemical and mining industries.

One of the successful cases of production implementation is the supply of shield equipment in explosion-proof shells with Exd type of explosion protection for Total E&P Dunga GmbH (Dunga deposit). In addition, the company produced and supplied explosion-proof junction boxes for the Project of the Future Expansion of TCO at the Tengiz field.

 According to the company, such an initiative makes it possible not only to develop local production, but also gives the right to purchase products with a competitive price and short deadlines.
