On March 29, specialists from the Qazindustry digital transformation directorate, together with KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, held a meeting with representatives of industrial associations and enterprises of the Abay region. The event was attended by about 30 business representatives.

The main topic of the speakers' presentation was the transformation of industrial enterprises through digital initiatives and government support measures for digital transformation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional branch of the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund and the Abai IT-valley technology cluster.

The speakers talked about the importance of digitalization of production and business processes.

“Digitalization is no longer a matter of choice, but a problem that needs to be solved. It is the main direction of development of industrial enterprises. Digital technologies cover not only production processes, but also penetrate into all areas of activity, including management and planning,” said Kuat Ziyadanov, chief expert of the Qazindustry Digital Transformation Directorate.

He also spoke about the mechanisms for providing government support measures aimed at digitalization of industry. Representatives of enterprises expressed interest in receiving such services.
