On April 24 this year, with the support of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the World Bank project "Enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in Kazakhstan"; KIDI JSC, together with foreign consultants from Infide (Spain) conducted the first public presentation of the construction cluster of the Karaganda region in Karaganda.

The head of the World Bank Project Implementation Group of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Iskander Aliyev, the representative of the Construction, Architecture and Town Planning Department of the Karaganda region Sayat Kopbalin, the director of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region Yernar Kulpeisov, the head of the Architecture, Urban Development and Housing and Utilities Department of the Ulyanovsk State University " National Association of the Construction Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Tusupbekov, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan community of developers of the Karaganda region Tolegen Ashimov, representatives of educational structures: Karaganda State Technical University, Karaganda Mining and Industrial College, LLP Construction Business Development Center, as well as executives and representatives of the construction sector companies and the cluster of the Karaganda region: LLP Bomer Armatura, LLP Alian Paint, PC Aspap, LLP Santehprom, LLP Institute Grazhdanproekt, LLP KKK LTD, LLP KKK Beton, LLP Firma Biryuza and K, LLP ZhBI-Karaganda, LLP StroyTechnology, ProfStroi-2030 LLP, IP Kulyasov, Power Beton LLP, Braer color LLP, International ECO Energy Efficiency, Resource Saving and Environmental Technologies Center PRO ECO , Olivia LLP, Stroyka and K LLP, REALCOM LLP.

Within the framework of the presentation, the result of field work with industry enterprises, conducted by employees of KIDI JSC with foreign consultants in January-March 2018 was presented to the participants. The participants were also instructed on the further stages of the Project implementation and discussed the main challenges of the construction cluster in the Karaganda region.

This presentation summed up the stage devoted to diagnosing the current state of the cluster. In the next stage from May to August of this year, the team of KIDI JSC, together with the cluster companies will start practical work on the development of key strategic directions of the cluster taking into account the developing global trends in the construction industry and the formation of the Cluster Development Action Plans.
