«QazIndustry» Kazakhstan Industry and Export Center» JSC on March 18 this year, at the initiative of the State Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of Almaty, took part in an online meeting on the topic" Step-by – step procedure for exporting enterprises to enter the PRC market "for representatives of more than 28 industrial enterprises of Almaty.
In addition to the city's enterprises, representatives of KazakhExport Export Insurance Company JSC and QazTrade Trade Policy Development Center JSC took part in the online meeting.
During the online meeting, Arstanbek Sagiyev, Deputy Head of the Directorate for Development and Monitoring of QazIndustry Support Tools, familiarized the participants with the conditions, mechanism and procedure for entrepreneurs to receive reimbursement of costs, including those related to:

• training of engineering, technical and production personnel of the enterprise;
• involving a foreign employee under an employment contract, as well as with a foreign employee under an employment contract or a contract for the provision of services for the promotion of products;
• development of a comprehensive plan for an industrial and innovative project;
• installation and start-up operations, including engineering, development, the introduction of advanced management and production technology (ACS software), including introducing elements of Industry 4.0. etc.

Within the framework of the webinar, questions were asked about the cost recovery associated with the installation and commissioning works, the conditions for the participation of business entities to receive cost recovery, etc.
Representatives of enterprises voiced their proposals on improving the current mechanism for providing cost recovery, as well as proposals for the introduction of new support tools aimed at promoting goods in the domestic market, such as advertising of manufactured goods on television, rental of premises and retail space, and certification of goods, etc.

For reference: At the end of 2020, within the framework of labor productivity improvement, 6 applications were supported from 4 enterprises of the city of Almaty, which received cost recovery in the total amount of 25.8 million tenge (RG Brands Kazakhstan LLP, KazTechInnovations LLP, Solnechny Dairy Plant LLP and Kaz SPO-N LLP).
