The Polish newspaper "Rzeczpospolita" spoke about the development of free economic zones in Kazakhstan

In its article, the publication described how Kazakhstan is systematically developing Free Economic Zones (FEZ) and their impact on the diversification of the structure of the economy of Kazakhstan.

As the journalists of the newspaper noted, Kazakhstan remains the most dynamically developing country in Central Asia in terms of GDP, whose economy, after the decline in growth dynamics in 2014-2016, began to accelerate again, and at the end of 2019 reached the level of 4.5%.

At the same time, the article notes that even though the process of organizing the FEZ and IZ has not yet been completed, it contributed to increased interest in Kazakhstan from foreign investors.

The material also tells about the active role of the republic in the integration processes of Central Asia and its activities at the international level (Syrian Peace Process, CICA), membership in the World Trade Organization (since 2015), and the significant role of Kazakhstan in the Chinese monumental project “One Belt, One way".

Also, Polish journalists noted that long-term planning in the FEZ and IZ, the constant introduction of new legal solutions that promote business activity, and, finally, the development potential of the republic in the BRI context and the role of the “Eurasian gate” make it possible to optimistically forecast the economic future of Kazakhstan. They also spoke about the role of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the current Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the successful development of foreign and domestic economic policy.
