JSC «Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export «QazIndustry» announces the holding of the Business Forum «ITALY-KAZAKHSTAN» online on June 9, 2021 at 14:00 hours, Nur-Sultan time, as well as in bilateral meetings with Italian companies on the basis of the virtual GO platform!
During the business forum, it is planned to hold a panel discussion «Mechanics and Industry», where the main speakers will be Marat Karabayev, Chairman of the Commission for Industrial Development and Security of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Berik Bekenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export «QazIndustry», Amandyk Batalov, Akim of Almaty region, Alessandro D'Angelo, General Director of Tenaris for the Caspian region TENARIS and Gianpaolo Azzara, General Director, KIOS Group.
Mechanics in Kazakhstan is traditionally a key sector of trade with Italy, in particular in the machine-building industry, which until 2019 occupied the first place in Italian exports. However, the crisis caused by the pandemic has severely affected Italian exports in this sector. The speakers will discuss the prospects of the industry in terms of recovery after the pandemic.
Within the framework of the business forum, a number of official events will be held with the participation of the government circles of Italy and Kazakhstan, as well as a round table, plenary sessions and bilateral meetings between Italian and Kazakh companies.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the ICHE Agency-accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan as the Department for the Development of Trade Exchange (ICHE) The Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the General Confederation of Italian Industry «Confindustria» in cooperation with JSC «NC «Kazakh Invest» and NCE «Atameken».
The business forum is aimed at in-depth familiarization and understanding of the production realities of Italy and Kazakhstan, establishing cooperation and bilateral trade and economic partnership in such sectors as manufacturing, agro-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, as well as in the field of Industry 4.0. and new technologies.
