The volume of investments in the chemical industry of Kazakhstan in January-October 2021 exceeded 398.3 billion tenge, an increase of almost 4.7 times. Such a significant growth is associated with the construction of a gas chemical complex for the production of polypropylene in the Atyrau region. Thus, investments in the chemical industry of Atyrau region amounted to 314.8 billion tenge (79% share).
At the same time, the Pavlodar region (31.5 billion tenge) and Zhambyl region (29.8 billion tenge) can be singled out among significant investments in the context of regions.
