Turkestan region (11%) the main players are cotton processing plants of Khansuar Invest Company LLP, Myrzakent LLP, Turkestan Textile LLP (workwear, home textiles), Altyn Adam LLP (men's suits, workwear).
The main manufacturers of light industry products in Almaty (11%) are Kazlegprom Almaty LLP (men's clothing and footwear, school uniforms, overalls, military uniforms), Semiramida Sewing Company LLP (outerwear), Zhetisu JSC (footwear), KAZSPO – N LLP (sportswear, outerwear), Angelcher LLP (school uniform).
In these regions, there is a developed infrastructure, personnel competencies and availability of raw materials, which serves as a prerequisite for a more developed light industry market.
