QazIndustry JSC attended the Eurasian Economic Forum

JSC "QazIndustry" represented by the Deputy Chairman of the Board Marat Daueshov took part in the first Eurasian Economic Forum "Eurasian economic integration in the age of global changes. New opportunities for investment activity.", which was held on May 26, 2022 in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic).

The forum was attended by about 2,500 representatives from 15 countries, including high-level representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, government agencies, national corporations and businesses of EAEU countries, as well as representatives of the expert, investment and scientific communities.

Marat Daueshov's speech was devoted to "The main directions of industrial cooperation: key trends, realization tools, challenges and risks".

According to his words, from the very beginning of the Eurasian Economic Union, industrial cooperation has been among the priorities of integration processes, and Kazakhstan has established a number of cooperation projects with partners in the EAEU.

It is worth noting that the Kazahkahstan Party under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with JSC "QazIndustry" actively participated in the development of documents of the Main areas of industrial cooperation and its implementation.

Marat Daueshov also noted that in terms of production and exports, Kazakhstan is in 2nd place among the EAEC countries, and in terms of exports is in 3rd place.

At the same time, he pointed out the trend of growth in exports of processed goods. According to him, in 2021, compared to 2015, the share of exports of commodities decreased from 45.8% to 39.8%, while the share of exports of processed goods increased from 54.2% to 60.2%.

 

At the end of the panel session, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Kyrgyz Party expressed their gratitude to JSC "QazIndustry" for participation in the Forum and assured of their intentions to further develop cooperation in the field of industry with the Kazakhstan.
