Kazindustry met with the business community of Shymkent and Turkestan region

Within the framework of analytical studies aimed at studying the current situation, prospects, opportunities for the development of the region, as well as explanations on measures of state stimulation of industry, in the period from June 6 to 9, 2022, meetings of employees of "QazIndustry" JSC with representatives of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the city of Shymkent and the Department of Investment and Export of Turkestan region were held areas.

During the seminar-meetings, the Deputy head of the Directorate of Regional Development, E.B. Myrzabekov, and the chief expert, Y. Sailaukyzy, discussed issues of further cooperation, as well as problematic issues of manufacturing enterprises in the region, barriers they face when selling their products, etc.

In addition, as part of the analytical research of "QazIndustry" JSC to identify the industrial potential of manufacturing industries based on quantitative and qualitative assessments, preliminary results of the analysis were discussed and recommendations were given for the further development of Shymkent and Turkestan region.

In order to clarify the conditions and mechanisms for the provision of state incentives to industry, the Head of the Directorate of Business Incentives Sagiev A.N. together with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of Shymkent and the Department of Investment and Export of Turkestan region held a seminar-meetings for industrial enterprises on June 7 in Shymkent, June 9 in Turkestan region on the topic "Measures of state stimulation of "QazIndustry" JSC.

More than 90 enterprises took part in the events. During the events, new directions of Kazakhstan's industrial policy, the procedure for obtaining reimbursement of part of the costs aimed at increasing labor productivity and frequent errors in the formation of applications for reimbursement of costs were discussed with the participants. Exhaustive answers were given to the participants' questions of interest.

As part of the trip, representatives of "QazIndustry" JSC visited a number of industrial enterprises of Shymkent and Turkestan region:

- B'BARS LLP (production of finished textiles, except clothing);

- SHYMKENT QAGAZY LLP (production of other paper and cardboard products);

- ASIA TRAFO LLP (production of electric motors, generators and transformers); - Golden Camel LTD LLP (food industry);

- JV "Turkistan textile" LLP (light industry);

- JSC "Kentau Transformer Plant" (mechanical engineering);

- KazTor LTD LLP (3D mesh production); - IP "Grand Mix" (furniture production).

During the visit to the above-mentioned enterprises, the representatives got acquainted with the regional production, which resulted in recommendations on costs, within which they could receive support from the state.

For reference: "Kazakhstan Center of Industry and Export "QazIndustry" JSC is the operator of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan to increase labor productivity and reimburses the following types of costs: 1) reimbursement of costs for improving the competence of the enterprise (training of employees and attracting foreign specialists); 2) reimbursement of costs for improving technological processes (technical and energy audit, IT consulting, industrial design, installation supervision and commissioning, equipment maintenance, industrial testing, engineering services, etc.); 3) reimbursement of costs for improving the efficiency of production organization (introduction of management and production technologies, automated control systems, Kaizen, Kanban, introduction of elements of Industry 4.0); 4) reimbursement of costs for the development and/ or examination of a comprehensive plan of an industrial and innovative project (for leasing and feasibility studies.
