On July 20-21 this year in Nur-Sultan, at the site of JSC "Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export "QazIndustry", a meeting on the activities of the FEZ was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the KIR MIIR RK Ospanov I.E. with the participation of the first heads of special economic zones, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "QazIndustry" Bopazov M.D., head of the Business Promotion Directorate Sagiev A.N., as well as E.E. Sagnaev, Director of the Department of Tax and Customs Policy of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, problematic issues and ways to solve them within the framework of improving the current legislation were voiced, as well as individual requests for each individual project in the SEZ were considered.

One of the most important topics on the agenda is the expansion of the list of priority activities in the context of SEZ. In turn, the Director of the Department of Tax and Customs Policy of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.E. Sagnaev, gave a positive assessment and took into account the proposal and wishes from the representatives of the company's Managers to improve the activities of the SEZ.

Also, during the meeting, the head of the BPD A.N. Sagiev explained the conditions and mechanisms for providing state support to subjects of industrial and innovative activities aimed at increasing labor productivity, and also announced mechanisms for reimbursing part of the costs.

As a result of the meeting, measures of an operational and systemic nature were proposed, which will be aimed at intensifying work on the implementation of projects in the SEZ, improving the activities of management companies, as well as ensuring equal competition for the development of domestic producers.
