Acquaintance of the Kyzylorda Region with clustering
In the period from 6 to 8 February of the current year, the staff of the Center cluster development of JSC "Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute visited the Kyzylorda held working meetings with EPA" Atameken" and near are enterprises that have the potential to participants selection of territorial clusters. The purpose of this mission was to hold consultations about process of enrollment and eligibility criteria territorial clusters. The meetings were attended by the following enterprises for the production and processing of rice: "Jan-Arai Zhem», LLC ‘Nai-Mir’,FRI ‘Abzal and K’ on the territory of these enterprises operate warehouses to store both raw materials and finished products and packaging laboratory autoscales workshop, in particular LLP ‘Jean-Arai Zhem’ equipped with milling mill and equipment for manufacture of macaroni, waste from industries which are used for the issuance of export feed. of 35%, mainly in CIS countries: Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and others.
When the first stage of the trip in September 2016, during meetings with representatives of the above departments, as well as the Governments of Kyzylorda Region, which had discussed the possibility of participation in the selection of territorial clustering in the food industry, namely enterprises on rice production and processing. Resulting from the Organization's meetings have expressed interest to participate in the program and the preparation of submissions.
Cluster policy implementation is carried out within the framework of GPIIR 2015-2016 timeframe. and project between the Government of the REPUBLIC of KAZAKHSTAN and the World Bank, ‘Enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan’. The project involves the identification of 6 pilot territorial clusters within the selection process, which will be held in order to implement the cluster analysis cluster initiatives, and accompanying measures of State support and the necessary legal framework for the further implementation of the cluster policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project is designed for two and a half years and will enter into an active phase after the announcement of the competition for proposals the Ministry of investment and development of the REPUBLIC of KAZAKHSTAN.
