In the period from 13 to 15 February of the current year, the staff of the Center cluster development of JSC "Kazakhstan Industry Development Institute   visited Aktau city and held working meetings on the second stage travel GPIIR 2015-2019. and project between the Government of the REPUBLIC of KAZAKHSTAN and the World Bank, "Enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan» (hereinafter the project).

The purpose of this trip was to conduct informational and consulting work before the official announcement of the competition on selection of territorial clusters at meetings attended by representatives from the EPA "Atameken" and Mangistau Region Office of tourism, which in turn represent the interests of potential participants in the selection of territorial clusters. During the meeting were discussed issues of territorial clusters on selection procedures, as well as representatives from the EPA further informed about the readiness of the AGROINDUSTRIAL COMPLEX of Mangistau region in participating in the contest territorial clusters.

Previously, in September 2016y. -the first stage travel, formed vision of potential clusters in the Mangistau region on historical and cultural tourism, maritime and construction industries.

At this point after the meeting to participate in the contest territorial clusters expected claims of companies and enterprises of Mangystau region on tourism , the construction industry and agriculture.

In General, the project involves the identification of 6 pilot territorial clusters within the selection process, which will be held in order to implement the cluster analysis cluster initiatives, and accompanying measures of State support and the necessary legal framework for the further implementation of the cluster policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project is designed for two and a half years and will enter into an active phase after the announcement of the competition for proposals the Ministry of investment and development of the REPUBLIC of KAZAKHSTAN.
