On March 5, the QazIndustry discussion platform discussed the implementation of a new measure of state incentives for manufacturing enterprises – an industrial grant.

The participants of the event discussed the conditions for granting an industrial grant, possible purposes for its use, the application and grant submission processes, as well as the counter-obligations assumed by the enterprise.

«Today we are discussing a new type of business incentive tool with the business community. This tool is being developed within the framework of the state program of industrial and innovative development until 2025 and is aimed at modernizing existing or creating new production facilities at existing enterprises», said Aidar Kakimzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «Kazakhstan center for industry and export «QazIndustry».

The total amount of co-financing under the industrial grant will be up to 50% of the reasonable costs, but not more than 750 million tenge per enterprise. The grant will be provided on a co-financing basis and free of charge.

QazIndustry, together with the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, forms proposals on the terms and mechanism for granting an industrial grant.
