Since September 2019, Euroconsultants S.A - branch of Kazakhstan together with JSC Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export, QazIndustry and NCE Atameken within Supplier Development Project in Kazakhstan – SDPK conducted business assessments of the state of business. The assessments are based off the methodology of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) amongst more than 210 SMEs, which includes a review of management and business processes. SDPK is funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a result of two evaluations, QNP-Education scored 379 points and 392 points; of a maximum score of 1000 points, which in turn surpassed the average score of 323 points. This allowed it to enter the Top 100 companies and have an opportunity to participate in reimbursement of expenses for international certification.
QNP-Education was formed in 2010 under the original name Spetspromobrazovanie. It provides industrial, nuclear, radiation and occupational safety training services. QNP-Education is part of the Qazaq National Product (QNP) group of companies. Its main clients are KazTransOil, Air Astana, Kazakhmys and others.
For 10 years of experience in the industrial services market, QNP-Education has been constantly improving. It was faced with the task of growth, asserting its position, increasing sales, and establishing long-term relationships with customers.
Since 2016, the company began offering courses in occupational safety, fire safety, and electrical safety. Firstly, to achieve concrete growth, it was necessary to train its employees. Since, the company began working closely with KIMEP University. Professors with international experience were engaged to train employees and customers. Training courses were also conducted for managerial staff. Today, QNP-Education cooperates with the Business Advisory System (BAS) program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which provides clients the opportunity to receive co-financing for consulting projects from BAS as well as the opportunity to implement projects according to international standards.
Since 2018, the company has implemented a corporate project management system in accordance with the international IPMA standard, in which more than 60 certified project managers have B, C and D levels. This has provided an opportunity to nurture new leaders within the company.
At present, QNP-Education is engaged in recruiting specialists for the QNP group of companies. The company plans to eventually offer these types of services to external organizations by outsourcing suitable specialists and organizational services. QNP-Education is also engaged in introducing new projects to test them, assess their viability, and in the future bring them into a separate business unit.
QNP-Education participated in several project activities, such as webinars on business skills development, a Buyer's Meeting, a training seminar on enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, and reimbursement of part of the international certification costs. As a result, the company received about 2,600,000 tenge for the reimbursement of expenses on certificates for project management and quality management systems. In accordance with international standards and partnership with TCO, they monitored customer satisfaction and received feedback based on recommendations from international experts which are to negotiate with a Serbian company to sell equipment for defectoscope and implement plans to buy said equipment under the Damu Fund program on preferential crediting.
