JSC "Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export "QazIndustry" during the analysis of purchases of subsoil users, system-forming enterprises and national holdings by the end of 2020 identified the most demanded professional services in the domestic market. These are consulting, engineering, geological exploration, services in the field of information technology, computer systems, as well as services in the field of education.

Thus, by the end of 2020, with the total volume of professional services purchased in the amount of 362.5 billion tenge, the share of local content was 77.5%.
It is worth noting that by the end of 2020, geological and geophysical services were included in the top 3 purchased professional services, and accounted for 37.5% of the total purchase of professional services. Engineering services took the second place - 19.2% and consulting services took the third place - 18.4%.

Imports of geological and geophysical services amounted to 6.9%, the share of local content is 93.1%, well engineering services imports amounted to 10.7%, and the local content 89.3% of Import consulting services was 64.6%, the share of local content of 27.8%.

For a specified period with a high proportion of local content in geological and geophysical services were purchased services for drilling wells for oil, gas and geophysical services.

In the field of engineering services, general construction engineering services, design engineering services, architectural design services for hydraulic and reclamation structures were purchased from domestic producers.

Most of the procurement in consulting services purchased with a high proportion of local content are software consulting services, management issues and improvement of the organizational structure of production management.
