On May 26, 2022, a team of representatives of  QazIndustry JSC, Samruk-Energo JSC, NC Kazatomprom JSC, NC KazMunayGas JSC, Kazakhmys Corporation LLP and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B. В." and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) had visited the enterprises of Almaty city, ElectroBar LLP Asia Steel Pipe Corporation LLP (Asia Steel Pipe Corporation), Energy Company LLP ("EnCo").

It should be noted that domestic enterprises can demonstrate the technological and production process and the quality of products to potential customers.

At a meeting with the management of enterprises they discussed the development of markets for products and cooperation with subsoil user companies of the mining and oil and gas sector, national companies, as well as consideration of the possibility of signing long-term contracts.

In addition, the domestic enterprises were introduced to the measures of state support aimed at improving labor productivity, as well as the mechanisms of cost recovery. Also, presentation materials on their products were presented by the domestic enterprises.

In the course of the visiting tour, major customers of Samruk-Energy JSC, NC Kazatomprom JSC, NC KazMunayGas JSC, Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) were introduced to the production process, as well as the range of products manufactured by domestic producers.

The production of pipe products by Asia Steel Pipe Corporation LLP attracted more attention and interest from major customers, since the company was started up in Almaty in December 2021 and is not widely known in the region.

Also, during the meetings contacts were established between customers and suppliers and issues of concluding long-term contracts and encountered barriers in procurement were discussed.

Thus, regional visits are contributing to the strengthening of business and trusting partnerships between customers ( major operators) and domestic suppliers.

In this regard, JSC "QazIndustry" will take measures to support and assist in the conclusion of long-term contracts by organizing such regional visits to enterprises with the participation of large companies and other interested parties.

Asia Steel Pipe Corporation LLP produces large diameter steel welded pipes (diameter from 355 mm to 1420 mm). The plant is located in the industrial zone of Almaty. The plant was put into operation in December 2021 and has modern equipment for the production of spiral welded pipes. The number of staff is 200 people. The share of in-country value (local content) is 55-60%.

LLP "Energy Company" ("EnCo") produces equipment for heat points and internal distribution (pumping stations, block heat points for heat and water supply, heat exchangers, etc.). ElectroBar" LLP carries out production of electrical equipment.
