The CIS has adopted a list of joint measures to respond to emerging problems within the CIS

The CIS member states agreed to increase mutually beneficial cooperation in various industries within the framework of the List of Joint Measures to Respond to emerging Problems in the CIS.

"QazIndustry" JSC together with the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan took an active part in the development of this document, which consists of 12 sections and 41 points, including 7 points in the field of industry.

The main activities in the field of industry are:

• determination of the list of priority industrial cooperation areas and consideration of the possibility of developing existing production ties, including within the framework of the Concept of Development of Industrial Cooperation of the CIS member states being developed;

• development of cooperation of the CIS member states in the fields of automotive industry, mining and metallurgical industry, agricultural and power engineering, as well as the production of machinery and equipment for road works, forestry, equipment for the use of natural gas as motor fuel and for the construction of gas–fueling infrastructure and the implementation of hydrogen energy technologies.

The implementation of these measures will allow for the gradual and systematic creation of innovative infrastructure for the development of new industries and will contribute to the removal of regulatory barriers and the formation of conditions for the introduction of innovative products to the markets.

It is to be noted that at the 94th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, held on June 10, 2022 in Nur-Sultan, the Parties reviewed and adopted a list of joint measures to respond to emerging problems within the CIS.

Today, the CIS Executive Committee, together with the Parties, is carrying out relevant work and considering proposals for the implementation of the activities of this document, which will be submitted for information to the CIS Economic Council, scheduled for September 23, 2022 in Moscow (Russian Federation).
